Introduction

Hello, thank you for visiting my website. My name is Jeremy Itzcovitz and I’m a London Blue Badge tourist guide. I’m lucky enough to have lived in London all my life, and would love to share my fabulous city with you. Whether you’re on holiday, snatching a moment on a business trip, or a local keen to see more of your city, there is so much to enjoy in London - the great museums and galleries, the tradition and culture, as well as the fabulous and creative ways in which London constantly renews itself.

I’ve lived in various parts of London, and my love of this amazing city started when I went to school in the centre of the 2000 year old City of London. I then worked at various locations across central London, exploring sites around me whenever I could, before going on to become a guide. My training included nearly two years studying in depth this timeless city - there is so much to show you!

I really enjoying London history, literature, art and architecture, fabulous examples of which can be explored all around town. I also love London’s brilliant transport system, its history and its fabulous buildings all over the city. Whatever your interests, I am happy to tailor a tour to help you make the most of our wonderful city.

What I Can Offer

I can offer full day or half day tours in London, and at some of our great sites outside of London. I can construct tours that match what interests you most.

London has some fantastic sites: if you’d like a tour of the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey or St Paul’s cathedral I can help you get the best out of them. If you’d like to visit our great museums and galleries I’d love to show you our National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and more.

Or perhaps you’d prefer outdoors. My walking tours include the fascinating stories of immigration around Spitalfields, culture along the South Bank, or areas of amazing regeneration such as Stratford or the King’s Cross district. It’s not just the great locations and architectural gems, it’s the stories behind them that I’d love to share.

Perhaps a day out of town: Windsor, Hampton Court Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath and many more fascinating places that can make a memorable day trip.

Use the contact form below and we can discuss tailoring something right for you.

Tower of London

London

2-3 hours

A fortress, a medieval palace, prison and place of execution, right in the heart of London. When you see the Tower of London you’ll understand why people considered it the safest place in London to keep the Crown Jewels, the fabulous jewels still used for coronations today, as they have been for centuries. Not only will you see them up close, I’ll also tell you the stories behind the names Bloody Tower, Traitors Gate, and so much more.

Greenwich

London

Half day or more

Greenwich - where time comes from! Well, Greenwich Meantime anyway, which you can learn all about at the Royal Observatory. But there is so much more to visit here if you have, well, the time: the 19th century tea clipper the Cutty Sark, or the wonderful Old Naval College designed by Sir Christopher Wren, that boasts what many call London’s Cistene Chapel, the Painted Hall. Then there’s the National Maritime Museum, full or maritime history, or Inigo Jones’ wonderful Queen’s House full of great maritime themed art.

Westminster Abbey

London

1-2 hours

Let me show you 1000 years of history in one building. And a place that plays a key role in our nation’s history. The site of coronations from 1066 through to Charles III’s memorable coronation in 2023. Stunning architecture, tombs of 18 monarchs going back to Edward the Confessor, graves and memorials of some of the greatest Britons: Sir Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, Charles Dickens and many more.
